On Thursday, Mojo HD, the high-definition channel, will launch a programming block that revolves around the lives of individuals who work in finance. The lineup, titled "Mojo Money Night," comprises three series about stock traders, venture capitalists and startup entrepreneurs. "We realized after launching in HD in September 2003 in order to maintain our leadership in the high-definition landscape, our network had to stand for something other than the technology," said Robert Jacobson, president and chief executive of iN Demand Networks of New York. "So we created Mojo HD to distinguish ourselves and build a compelling brand." The Thursday programs include one returning series and two new ones. The evening begins with the return of "Wall Street Warriors." The show follows six people in the world of finance: a hedge fund manager and floor trader, a private-equity fund manager, a commodities pit trader, a rookie trader and a pair of stockbrokers. Following that will be a new series, "Bobby G: Adventure Capitalist," which explores the life of capital management investor Bobby Genovese as he travels the world buying and selling companies. Finally, "Start-Up Junkies" is a new series about entrepreneurs who thrive on the excitement of working in startup ventures. Mojo HD is geared toward an affluent male audience and is available as part of HD offerings on every major cable system across the country.
