Strategic Financial Solutions, a seven-adviser firm managing $1.4 billion, has switched its affiliation from Principal Securities to Commonwealth Financial Network.

Advisers Larry Witzel, Bert McClintock, Brian Brandt, Jeff Haugse, Jordan Kuehner, Steven Bragg and David Spanier made the move, along with the firm’s team of support staff.

“Commonwealth’s service-oriented culture feels in sync with ours," Witzel, the firm's president, said in a statement. "The breadth and depth of resources, from the technology enhancements and interface to the Commonwealth team being readily available to answer our questions, make this a good partnership."
