A team led by Richard Kersting that managed $950 million at 1879 Advisors has joined New York-based Kuttin Wealth Management, a firm whose representatives are affiliated with Ameriprise.
Kersting, who has 33 years of experience, according to BrokerCheck, leads the nine-adviser New York-based team, all of whom made the move, along with seven support staff members.
Also making a move to Kuttin, which manages $5.1 billion, was Vincent Gianatasio, who managed $192 million at Cadaret Grant. Gianatasio has 44 years of experience and had been affiliated with Cadaret Grant for 32 years, according to BrokerCheck.
New chief executive Rich Steinmeier replaced Dan Arnold on October 1.
