Alex. Brown nabs Florida advisor managing $250 million at Merrill

Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, said it has added Daniel Laiter, a Florida advisor who managed more than $250 million in assets at Merrill Lynch.

Laiter will join the firm’s Brickell Avenue branch in Miami.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Laiter has 25 years of experience. He had been affiliated with Merrill Lynch since 2008, and earlier did stints at Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse Securities and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.
