InvestmentNews has launched a jobs board, The Career Center, at InvestmentNews.com/careers that provides financial advisers with information about - and direct access to - employment opportunities.
Using the resources of The Advisor Center, the Career Center provides users with details on clearing firms and broker-dealers, as well as specific opportunities at registered investment advisory firms and individual broker-dealer branches.
Job seekers can customize their searches, skimming for opportunities at particular broker-dealers or looking for openings at businesses that use certain clearing firms.
Via The Advisor Center, they can interact anonymously with firms.
Advisers also can access content from The Career Center at no cost through a monthly newsletter, “Tools for Transition.”
“The way advisers gather information has changed considerably,” said Tom Daley, chief executive and founder of The Advisor Center. “Using the web to educate themselves about their next opportunity has become more common, and supporting InvestmentNews' new Career Center is a natural fit for us both as we attempt to inform and advance the advisory community.”
Four sponsor firms are helping to underwrite The Career Center's development through next year: The Advisor Group, Cetera Financial Group, Commonwealth Financial Network and Pershing LLC.
