LPL Financial has just expanded its network in the Northeast.

In a statement Tuesday, LPL announced that it has welcomed Sussex Wealth Partners, a newly formed independent financial practice based in Lewes, Delaware.

The team, comprised of financial advisors Chris Mukoda, Brad Travis, Jr., and David Crouse, recently transitioned from PNC Investments to join LPL Financial’s broker-dealer, RIA, and custodial platforms under the umbrella of Momentum Wealth Partners.

The advisors behind Sussex Wealth Partners, which boasts over 75 years of collective experience in financial services, reportedly managed around $415 million in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets.

The firm is strategically located in a building that was once an art gallery, now redesigned by team partner and office manager, Natalie Fowler, and her husband, Anthony. This new space is intended to enhance the client experience, reflecting the team’s commitment to providing personalized financial guidance.

“Our clients range from farmers, professionals, retirees and regular working people, and our goal is to provide each of them with a personal and tailored experience designed to help them meet their financial objectives,” said Mukoda, a seasoned advisor with 30 years under his belt.

“We take the time to get to know our clients on a deeply personal level so we can best guide them on their fiscal journey,” he said.

The decision to join LPL and align with Momentum Wealth Partners came after a year of thorough research and due diligence by the Sussex team, seeking a partnership that matched their client-centered philosophy. Mukoda highlighted the firm’s streamlined solutions, integrated technology, and back-office support.

Asif Hussain, managing partner and co-founder of Momentum Wealth Partners, welcomed the Sussex team, emphasizing the alignment of values.

“At Momentum, we support advisors with a success-oriented mentality, fostering an atmosphere where they are eager to enhance their practices and dedicated to providing service excellency to their clients. The Sussex team embodies this philosophy,” Hussain said.

In February, LPL welcomed another $415 million team from PNC, Endeavor Wealth Strategies, to its network in Indiana. More recently last week, PNC lost another advisor duo in Indiana to Raymond James as they joined the broker-dealer giant’s independent advisor channel.
