Raymond James has augmented its advisory network in the Southern US market as a former Ameriprise advisor jumps ship in Florida.

The broker-dealer announced that it has welcomed Anthony Losh as the latest addition to its employee advisor channel, Raymond James & Associates.

Most recently, Losh managed a book of more than $250 million in client assets at Ameriprise Financial. He was registered as an investment advisor and broker at the wirehouse for less than a year, according to his BrokerCheck profile.

The wirehouse breakaway has been in the industry for over 25 years serving at seven firms, including stops at Comerica, Primevest, and NatCity Investments.

Based in Raymond James’s Stuart, Florida branch, he’s joined by financial planning consultant Julia Arrighi and registered client service associate Rene Quinones. The team will be working under the supervision of branch manager Tanya Wandoff and Stephen Fricke, who manages the Central Florida Complex.

In a statement, the veteran advisor highlighted Raymond James’s “integrity and client-first culture,” along with its comprehensive support and resources for advisors.”

"I look forward to leveraging the firm's robust platform and technology to provide my clients with more enhanced offerings – all backed by the personalized service they expect from our team,” said Losh, who’s stepping in as senior vice president, wealth management at RJA.

Speaking for RJA, Fricke said her group was " thrilled to welcome Tony and his team … and eager to see the benefits this change has for his practice.”

She also commended his “commitment to client service” and “tactical approach to helping clients realize their unique financial goals.”

With Losh, Raymond James has extended its June recruitment drive to include 18 new advisors, counting both RJA and Raymond James Financial Services, its independent advisor channel.

The firm’s June recruiting streak began with a bang as it welcomed a Florida advisor team with almost $500 million in assets from Merrill Lynch, followed by a pair of breakaway advisors in Alaska who collectively managed more than half a billion dollars at their former firms.
