Wells Fargo duo managing $205 million goes indie with LPL

Ara Mekhitarian and Leonardo Aguilar, who managed $205 million at Wells Fargo Advisors, have formed Encore Capital Management and affiliated with LPL Financial through the Financial Services Network, an office of supervisory jurisdiction on the LPL platform.

The two, who have worked together for more than a decade, are based in Glendale, California, LPL Financial said in a press release Thursday.
