Fabozzi joins ETF index developer

Frank J. Fabozzi, a finance professor at the Yale School of Management will serve as senior adviser to ETF and index research firm IndexIQ Inc. The partnership represents ETF developers' desire to expand, especially in fixed-income investments. Besides advising the company on ETFs, Mr. Fabozzi is also expected to offer IndexIQ other index and quantitative research. Mr. Fabozzi is a well-known bond and risk management expert and the editor of the Journal of Porfolio Management. IndexIQ of Rye Brook, NY is a one-year-old newcomer on the financial scene. It creates indexes that group the best companies based on attributes like innovation, technology, and work force leadership.
