FundQuest Inc. today announced a partnership with New Frontier Advisors LLC, a research and investment advisory firm, to offer exchange traded fund managed-account portfolios to financial advisers. The two-Boston based companies will offer a new platform, New Frontier Global Strategic Model Portfolios, initially to more than 35 registered investment adviser firms. New Frontier develops and manages a range of ETF-based asset allocation portfolios and currently oversees approximately $1 billion in global ETF portfolios. Under the agreement, New Frontier will offer FundQuest’s technology and operational services to enable advisers to improve new-business development and client management. By teaming with FundQuest, the firm can deliver its products to advisers in a turnkey package, Richard Michaud, Frontier’s president and chief investment officer, said in a statement. FundQuest, which is owned by BNP Paribas, a global financial services firm based in Paris, is an investment advisory firm providing services to more than 110 financial institutions. The firm’s combined U.S. and European operations has $64 billion in assets under management and administration.
