Josh Brown, an adviser and blogger, along with his business partner and three financial media and event entrepreneurs, will run a four-day event, Future Proof, that covers technology and trends they say are changing wealth management.

Brown, along with partner Barry Ritholtz of Ritholtz Wealth Management and Matt Middleton, John Swolfs and Matt Hougan, co-founders of Advisor Circle, are planning what they call an “in-person festival on the future of wealth,” in September 2022 in Huntington Beach, California.

“There is a fundamental transformation occurring,” said Middleton, CEO of Advisor Circle. "The lines between wealth, culture, technology and impact are blurring. Our goal is to connect and inspire a diverse community building a vision of wealth that is more exciting, inclusive, tech-enabled and forward-thinking.”

Middleton described the planned event as an “SXSW-like experience for the wealth industry.”
