Advisor Products connects to Redtail’s customer relationship management system, AdviceAmerica Inc. has released its latest version of its financial planning product.

Client portal planning software connects to Redtail CRM Advisor Products Inc. has integrated its Personal Client Portal with the web-based customer relationship management system of Redtail Technology Inc. of Gold River, Calif. Using the portal technology of Westbury, N.Y.-based Advisor Products, financial advisers can set up a secure financial web page for each client. That dedicated page will allow clients to access their account data from advisers’ portfolio management, financial planning and CRM systems, as well as market data. Advisers can also publish a blog and provide other personalized financial content to clients via the system. Advisers can reach out to clients through the CRM system. "If an adviser notices that it is time for an annual meeting with a client, he can assign a reminder to the client via Redtail CRM," said Brian McLaughlin, chief executive of Redtail. AdviceAmerica unveils upgrades to AdviserVision AdviceAmerica Inc. has released its latest version of its financial planning product, AdviserVision 7, targeting improvements that focus on independent advisers and institutional firms. A new Advice Engine helps to create financial plans, and it is designed to reduce costs, said Purna Pareek, founder and chief executive of AdviceAmerica, which is based in Fremont, Calif. AdviserVision 7 can share data with AdviceAmerica’s customer relationship management tool, ClientVision, creating a financial planning, portfolio construction and CRM tool on one platform. Some of the new features of AdviserVision are AdviceCenter Modeling Tools for constructing planning scenarios that can include annuities or reverse mortgages. Users can also create reports on portfolio re-balancing and revenue opportunities. In addition, they have the capability to generate investment policy statements for clients. AdviserVision 7 is priced at $1,495 per copy, though current AdviserVision users can upgrade to the new version at no charge. ClientVision is available to AdviserVision users for $199 per year.
