CRM Software Inc. has released significant updates to both its popular CRM system and its separate ClientView Live secure web portal. Version 8.7 of the Junxure CRM application includes deeper portfolio management integrations and quite a few other enhancements. New to ClientView Live are several security features for advisers to customize further their new account setup processes through the portal. Yet probably the single most sought-after feature that has been added is the PortfolioCenter Import Wizard. A significant proportion of the 9,000 users of Junxure also rely on the PortfolioCenter application from Schwab Performance Technologies for their portfolio management needs (SPT has about 2,200 firms using PortfolioCenter). The wizard has streamlined the process of getting data out of PortfolioCenter and into Junxure. For example, the new interface provides for better access and movement of account-level and asset-level data from PortfolioCenter into related account and holdings fields in Junxure. There have also been quite a few nuts-and-bolts changes in Junxure itself, including improved integration with Microsoft Outlook. Much of this work revolves around more efficient automated handling of e-mail, such as allowing users or firm administrators to route and block traffic based on address, domain or subject content. There are also new Actions navigation features, including a Linked Actions feature that makes it easier to expedite searches related to specific client actions using filters and keywords. Also within the Actions realm are new Recurring Action Sequences that can help firms more efficiently initiate work flow activities and follow up on them. One example might be setting up Junxure to trigger a sequence for new client account openings and providing advisers and staff the same predictable, consistent steps in carrying out that procedure. The upgrade to ClientView Live, a secure, encrypted web portal that is an add-on product for financial advisers to use with their clients, includes security and new-account-setup features. Specifically, firm administrators can now add challenge questions, change the required level of password complexity and adjust a password’s expiration, as well as show or hide the Forgot Password link. With the new Setup Account features, advisers have more control over how they customize the information their clients see online. In addition to sharing account details with clients, ClientView Live also has and electronic vault where clients and advisers can store and share documents.
