Envestnet adds easier document storage to Tamarac

Cloud-based system eliminates need for third-party.
JAN 11, 2018

Envestnet has enhanced the document vault file-storage system within its Tamarac portfolio and client management platform, eliminating the need to use a third-party vendor for file sharing. The company, which introduced a redesigned Tamarac platform in November, said the new file-storage system will make it easier and more secure for RIAs to manage documents electronically and share them with clients and third parties. It said that registered investment advisers would be more easily able to edit and sort documents into folders, and then track who made the changes and when they were made.
