ExpertPlan buys service center from ADP

ExpertPlan Inc., a private-label provider of retirement plan record-keeping services, has purchased a portion of Automatic Data Processing Inc.’s retirement services record-keeping business.

ExpertPlan Inc., a private-label provider of retirement plan record-keeping services, has purchased a portion of Automatic Data Processing Inc.’s retirement services record-keeping business. The unit acquired is ADP’s Overland Park, Kan., service center, which specializes in plan administration services for small- to mid-sized plans that hire third-party administrators. Financial terms of the deal — ExpertPlan’s third acquisition in 14 months — were not released. “By acquiring this business from ADP, ExpertPlan will significantly expand its geographic representation, resources and capabilities,” Julian Onorato, chairman and chief executive of East Windsor, N.J.-based ExpertPlan, said in a statement.
