External IT has added the office-management software offered by Junxure to the applications it can include within the cloud-based virtual desktops it creates for advisers. Those using both the External IT cloud system and the software from Junxure, best known for customer relationship management, would log in once from any computer or mobile device and be able to move seamlessly among their documents, CRM, e-mail, calendar and other systems, the firms said. “The market is demanding that all applications and components of an RIA's business model be fully integrated,” said Sam Attias, vice president of External IT's financial services practice. Financial advisers are finding that by integrating their separate technology systems they can create more efficient workflows and boost the profitability and growth of their firms. Some also are moving to cloud-based storage and management of data to boost efficiencies and make new applications available to clients. External IT already hosts more than 2,000 applications for different industries as part of its cloud-based computing offering. Pricing for External IT starts at $143 per user per month, or $1,716 per user per year, for access from mobile devices to cloud-based apps and data. The firms report that many External IT clients already are using Junxure. Greg Friedman, Junxure's chief executive, said External IT's virtual platform will be a good solution for its customers who want their “key applications hosted by a quality company.”
