RolloverSystems, a provider of 401(k) retirement rollover services to terminated plan participants, has made WealthConnect an education and financial planning tool, available to clients.
"Particularly during these tough economic times, these tools, combined with the guidance of our licensed retirement specialists, provide plan participants access to the resources they need to make financial and retirement decisions," Jim Langenwalter, chief marketing officer for RolloverSystems Inc. of Charlotte, N.C., said in a statement.
RolloverSystems manages the rollover process for plan sponsors, explains options to participants and provides assistance with rollovers, as well as several other services.
All terminated participants in a plan, regardless of their account balances, have access to professional guidance. WealthConnect uses online interactive tutorials, calculators and articles to provide participants with a better understanding of retirement and financial planning decisions that affect their 401(k) decisions.
SunGard launches reporting, communications tool
SunGard’s Asset Arena, software designed for the asset management business, has unveiled Client Portal, an online reporting and client communication tool.
The Asset Arena Client Portal gives asset managers and fund administrators access to customizable performance measurement and compliance reports.
“Clients' rising expectations, competition for global assets and an economic environment that drives attention to cost all point to the growing importance of client reporting,” Peter Delano, research area director for securities and investments at The Tower Group Inc of Needham, Mass., said in a statement.
“Shifting from basic client reporting to leading-edge status requires a commitment to improve business process and [information technology] governance, as well as technology in data management and portal interactivity,” he said.
In addition, the portal provides a scalable platform that can be integrated with third-party applications, provides remote access to systems, as well as connectivity to other software solutions. SunGard is based in Wayne, Pa.
