Users of Tifin Give, the philanthropic platform subsidiary of fintech giant Tifin, now have an opportunity to rev up the impact of their DAF-based giving through a new industry-leading feature.

Described as a first of its kind, the new capability announced Tuesday enables donors to mobilize their communities through personalized public campaigns.

The feature, aimed at enhancing donor-advised funds for RIAs, broker-dealers, and wirehouses, aims to make philanthropy a collaborative effort by integrating social engagement tools directly into its platform.

Donors can create and share customized campaigns, inviting friends, family, and their wider networks to contribute to causes they care about. Campaigns can be disseminated through social media, email, text, and QR codes, with donations processed directly within the DAF platform.

“Tifin Give is redefining giving,” Dr. Vinay Nair, founder and CEO of Tifin said in a statement Tuesday. “This first-of-its-kind community giving feature now allows families to rally their networks for any of their causes on one platform.”

The feature also builds on the platform’s multi-generational tools, which enable families to collaborate on philanthropic efforts, compare giving histories, and create a legacy of giving. By centralizing the campaign process, Tifin Give eliminates the need for external platforms, providing donors with aggregated insights and an integrated experience across multiple campaigns.

Recent events have already created an opportunity to put the new feature through its paces. According to Tifin Give, users joined a broad wave of advisors and their clients acting quickly in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, mobilizing campaigns to support relief organizations and ensure timely funding for urgent needs.

By simplifying the donation process, Tifin Give says it also supports lesser-known organizations by increasing visibility for their causes and streamlining administrative tasks. Donors receive immediate tax receipts, promoting a seamless and tax-efficient giving experience that maximizes the impact for charitable entities.

“This new feature empowers donors to become community leaders, amplifying their efforts by involving others while reducing operational challenges for smaller charitable organizations,” said Paul Lussow, CEO of Tifin Give.
