A Kalamazoo, Michigan, financial advisor has made a move from Edward Jones to join the branch channel of Ameriprise Financial.
Nathan Brown, AAMS, CRPC, CRPS, joins the firm with assets under management of almost $150 million and is joined by client associate Kelli Besser.
“It became clear that I needed more from my broker-dealer to continue serving my clients well, especially when it came to technology,” Brown commented. “[Ameriprise Financial’s] innovative capabilities and solutions have helped me go deeper on advice with clients while providing them with an elevated level of service.”
Switching firms involves many changes and ensuring that clients are happy with the move is vital.
“Clients have been overwhelmingly positive about our move to Ameriprise,” said Brown. “It’s evident my clients truly see and feel the positive change. I’m in this business to help my clients achieve their financial goals to the best of my ability. Ameriprise provides me with the support and resources to exceed their expectations.”
Ameriprise branch manager Rob Schauer, complex director Mark Kirchner, and regional vice president Mitch Doren will support the new team locally.
Other advisor moves this week include a $293M AUM advisor joining Baird and a veteran husband-wife duo among a team of seven joining Cetera.
