Buckingham Strategic Wealth acquires $350 million Stevens Wealth Management

Addition of Deerfield, Ill., RIA expands Chicago footprint of St. Louis-based $12.6 billion RIA.

St. Louis-based Buckingham Strategic Wealth, which manages or administers more than $12.6 billion in assets, has acquired Stevens Wealth Management, a Deerfield, Ill.-based registered investment adviser with approximately $350 million in assets under management. Terms of the acquisition were not announced, according to a release by DeVoe & Co., an investment bank and consulting firm that served as an adviser to Stevens in the transaction. Buckingham has more than 270 associates working at its headquarters and in 20 branch offices in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Nebraska, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming.
