Exec shuffle in LPL-affiliated B-D

One of the LPL Financial Services affiliated broker-dealers, Mutual Service Corp. of West Palm Beach Fla., on Friday morning announced changes in its management. J. Andrew Kalbaugh is now chief executive. Most recently, he was president, CEO and chairman of American General Securities Inc. of Houston. Mr. Kalbaugh takes the place of John Poff, who resigned from Mutual Service in February. George Fekete is the new director of branch development and in charge of recruiting. Previously, he was in charge of recruiting in the southeast for LPL. LPL, which is based in San Diego and Boston, closed its acquisition of Mutual Service Corp. in June and two other broker-dealers it bought from Pacific Life Insurance Co. of Newport Beach, Calif.
