Garry Bridgeman named IMCA president

The Investment Management Consultants Association has named Garry Bridgeman president for 2008 and 2009.

The Investment Management Consultants Association has named Garry Bridgeman president for 2008 and 2009. He is a private wealth adviser and first vice president of investments at the private-banking and investment group for the Atlanta branch office of Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. of New York. Also, IMCA has named Betsy Piper/Bach as its vice president, and board of directors members John Granzow and Sam Paglioni were elected to the positions of treasurer and secretary, respectively. IMCA also has elected Jeffrey Carlin, Claudia Cypher and Scott Thayer to two-year terms on the board beginning Jan. 1. The Greenwood Village, Colo.-based association has more than 6,800 members, including more than 5,400 certified investment management analyst designees.
