HD Vest adds $240 million rep from Raymond James

Richard Mitchen, a certified public accountant and financial planner whose team had $240 million in assets under administration at Raymond James in Baton Rouge, La., has affiliated with HD Vest Financial Services. Mr. Mitchen, who spent 35 years at Raymond James, heads a team of four advisers and three support staff members. HD Vest, part of Blucora Inc., specializes in serving advisers with tax-oriented practices.
