InvestmentNews is delighted to announce it is supercharging its growth plans after the title was acquired by award-winning global B2B company KM Business Information.
Building on its stellar reputation as a leading source of news, analysis and insights for financial advisors and investment professionals in the United States, InvestmentNews will now benefit from KM’s deep bench of talent and resources. The acquisition was completed on June 27.
A world-renowned B2B information provider, KM has 350 staff working on around 40 B2B titles and 60 annual events in the U.S., Canada, Australia, UK, and New Zealand. With a 21-year history of rapid growth, the team at KM brings a solid track record and passion for delivering exceptional content and service to readers and clients across the finance, HR, wealth, insurance and law sectors.
The acquisition means KM, an out-and-out publishing and media company, is replacing an investment vehicle as owner of the InvestmentNews brand. Drawing on this expertise, there are exciting plans to expand its editorial coverage, including a magazine redesign, and invest in compelling new events and digital and print offerings through Special Reports, research, and custom content.
"We are thrilled to welcome InvestmentNews to the KM family," said Mike Shipley, CEO of KM. "This acquisition aligns with our long-term strategy to provide our audiences with high-quality information and analysis to help them succeed in their professions."
"We are excited to be joining forces with KM," said John French, president of InvestmentNews. "The synergies between KM and InvestmentNews will help us better serve our readers and advertisers, and we look forward to growing together."
