The InvestmentNews Women Adviser Summit series of day-long business conferences catering to female financial advisers will expand to six cities in 2019
Since its start in 2014, thousands of women have attended the workshops to invest in their businesses, their brands and themselves.
“The Women Adviser Summits provide a unique experience for female financial advisers,” says Suzanne Siracuse, CEO/publisher, InvestmentNews. “For most, it's the first time they have walked into an industry conference of 200 people where they weren't the minority. The positive energy in the room is palpable and it sets the stage for a day of practical and thought-provoking sessions on everything from practice management and client communication, to investing and Social Security.”
“We rely heavily on our Advisory Board to make sure our content is relevant, inclusive and empowering,” Siracuse continues. “The women on our Advisory Board come from all areas of the financial advice industry. They are an impressive group of thought-leaders, business owners, executives and advocates.”
“InvestmentNews has been a real leader in investing in the women of our industry,” says Kathleen McQuiggan, wealth advisor, Artemis Financial Advisors. “As an advocate of building a gender-balanced advice world, I jumped at the chance to be on this advisory board to help amplify the impact of the Women Adviser Summits and encourage women to be reinvesting in themselves and others.”
The first Women Adviser Summit will kick-off on March 26th in Huntington Beach, Calif., a new stop for the series. From there they head back to Chicago on May 16th, Boston on July 9th, Denver on September 10th, San Francisco on October 22nd. The final event will be in New York City on November 19th.
