LPL retains $570 million with super-OSJ deal

Kansas-based nVision Wealth will come under supervision of Chicago-based IHT Wealth Management.
OCT 19, 2017

Kansas-based nVision Wealth Group, a regional super-OSJ and hybrid RIA group managing $570 million in assets, is affiliating with IHT Wealth Management, a Chicago-based national super-OSJ. Both firms are affiliated with LPL, where nVision and IHT custody most of their advisory assets. Under terms of the agreement, the five independent financial advisory practices that comprise nVision will transition their RIA assets to IHT's platform and come under its supervision. Three of those practices are in Overland Park: nVision Wealth, Tall Oaks Advisors and Castle Wealth Management. The two other practices – one in El Dorado and the other in Augusta, are both named Spencer, Wernli & Wilson Advisors. They collectively are home to 14 advisers. Formed in 2014, nVision Wealth Group said in a release that the move will enable its advisers to "maximize time spent on client-facing activities."
