Mariner to acquire $1.3 billion RIA in Florida
Singer Xenos Schechter Sosler, based in Coral Gables, is firm's sixth acquisition this year.

Mariner Wealth Advisors of Overland Park, Kan., will acquire Singer Xenos Schechter Sosler, a wealth advisory firm based in Coral Gables, Fla. The firm's four named partners and its 16 associates will remain with Mariner, the firm said in a release. Mariner said that the acquisition of the Miami-area firm marks its entry into the South Florida market. (More:Marsh & McLennan acquires Centurion, a $16 billion retirement group) In addition to firms it acquired this year in Texas, Indiana, Ohio and South Dakota, Mariner also recently opened offices in Charlotte, N.C., Des Moines, Iowa., Bellevue, Wash., Louisville, Ky., and Philadelphia, Pa.
