Merrill Lynch team managing $300 million goes indie with Raymond James

Three-broker team, Affinity Wealth Partners, is based in Springfield, Mo.

A three-broker team managing $300 million at Merrill Lynch has affiliated with the independent unit of Raymond James. The three advisers, Dana Havens, Ryan Patterson and Delvan Mitchell Jr., who are based in Springfield, Mo., have formed Affinity Wealth Partners. Ms. Havens began her career in 1997 with A.G. Edwards and later helped open the Morgan Stanley office in Springfield in 2000. In 2005, she joined Merrill Lynch. Mr. Patterson joined A.G. Edwards in 1999 as an intern and joined Ms. Havens' team, moving with her to Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Mitchell, who joined Merrill Lynch in 2007, leads Affinity Wealth Partners' business development efforts.
