Merrill team managing $235 million goes indie with Raymond James
Three-person Patton Wealth Management sets up shop in Maumee, Ohio.

A three-adviser team managing $235 million at Merrill Lynch in the Toledo, Ohio, area have created Patton Wealth Management and affiliated the firm with the independent unit of Raymond James. The firm, headed by David Patton, Miles O'Mailia and Theresa Cooper, is based in Maumee, Ohio. Mr. Patton began his wealth management career in 2000 at Edward Jones. He joined Smith Barney in 2004 and left for Merrill Lynch in 2007. Mr. O'Mailia worked at Prudential, Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch over his 40-year career. Ms. Cooper joined Merrill Lynch in 2009.
