A two-broker team managing $230 million at Oppenheimer has joined 626 Financial, a hybrid firm in Portage, Mich. Tom Anderton had been with Oppenheimer for his entire 11-year career. Ryan Howard, who had been with Oppenheimer for two years, had been associated with three firms since beginning his career in 2009. The addition of the two brokers is part of a succession plan at 626 Financial, said Craig Kamis, executive vice president of business development at LPL Financial, which announced the move in a release. LPL is the brokerage and advisory platform for 626 Financial.
