RFG Advisory, an InvestmentNews Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors in the USA for 2024, has bolstered its executive leadership team.

Joining the firm from a management role at CAIS is Abby Salameh, who becomes the hybrid RIA firm’s chief growth officer. She brings 25 years of industry experience to the firm where she will be tasked with driving advisor recruitment, marketing, and organic growth among RFG’s existing network of advisors.

“RFG is the most industry awarded firm advisors have never heard of and we are about to change that,” Salameh said. “RFG’s fully integrated platform is precisely what advisors need to enhance their client experience, drive organic growth and build enterprise value. RFG empowers advisors to define success on their own terms. Joining a team that's so focused on innovation and defining what the future of the industry means is incredibly exciting for me.”

Brendan Frazier also joins the firm as chief behavioral officer. He is the founder of Wired Planning and The Human Side of Money podcast and adds deep experience to support RFG’s advisors and their clients.

“The future of advice in our industry is where the human components of the profession intersect with technical knowledge and strategy,” said Shannon Spotswood, RFG president. “RFG is embracing this sea change in our industry by adding a talented chief behavioral officer to our experienced investment team.”

The third new member of the executive team is Kenneth J. Kim, who will serve as chief financial officer. The previous head of corporate development and strategy for North America at FNZ has more than two decades of experience in the financial services sector including investment banking and fintech.

SETTING A NEW STANDARD

Spotwood is certain that the additional strength in the firm’s leadership team will be transformational, not just for her firm but for the wider industry.

“This powerhouse team is going to transform and set the standard for the future of the wealth management industry. Abby, Brendan, and Ken each bring their own stellar attributes to the table, and we are lucky to have them," she said. "Combining them with the existing talent on our team – we are the firm for growth mindset advisors to build their business without compromise. It is an exciting time for advisors to look at joining RFG.”

Speaking recently about the firm’s inclusion in the InvestmentNews Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors in the USA, RFG Advisory founder and CEO Bobby White said: "We are pleased to be honored once more by InvestmentNews. It's especially meaningful to us that our team members, our most valuable asset, have played a significant role in driving this recognition."
