Tan to take on Barclays' Hong Kong unit
Barclays has added Aaron Tan as managing director and head of Hong Kong coverage, Finance Asia reported.

Barclays has added Aaron Tan as managing director and head of Hong Kong coverage, Finance Asia reported. He will report to Chris Hui, Barclays’ managing director and head of China and Hong Kong investment banking. In this newly created post, Mr. Tan will help grow Barclays’ investment banking business, helping the bank deliver fixed-income and risk-management products to clients in Hong Kong. He joins from New York-based Calyon Securities, where he was the head of debt capital markets for Asia-Pacific. A 23-year veteran of the investment banking world, Mr. Tan has worked for Citi, JPMorgan and HSBC.
