John Banks is joining the employee unit

John S. Banks, who had annual product of $1.7 million at Wells Fargo Advisors in Rochester, N.Y., has joined the employee unit of Raymond James. Mr. Banks spent more than 25 years with Wells Fargo and its predecessor firms, beginning his career in 1993 at A.G. Edwards. That firm was acquired in 2007 by Wachovia, which in turn was acquired the following year by Wells Fargo.
