Barbari named NYLI senior vice president

New York Life Insurance elected Patricia L. Barbari has to senior vice president in the Individual Policy Services department.

New York Life Insurance Co. announced that Patricia L. Barbari has been elected as a senior vice president in the Individual Policy Services department. She will be responsible for the IPS department's new business operations. Additionally, Ms. Barbari has assumed responsibility for underwriting operations and annuity new business. She will retain responsibility for overseeing the IPS General Office Administrative Services and Agent Contracting and Licensing. Ms. Barbari will report to executive vice president and chief administrative officer Frank Boccio. A New York Life staffer since 1989, she has been in the company's Individual Policy Services Department since 1995 and was promoted to first vice president in 2006.
