Genworth partners with National LTC Network

Genworth Financial Inc.’s long term care insurance business has teamed with the National LTC Network Inc. in a marketing relationship aimed at selling the insurer’s products and services.

Genworth Financial Inc.’s long term care insurance business has teamed with the National LTC Network Inc. in a marketing relationship aimed at selling the insurer’s products and services. The Overland Park, Kan., LTC distribution network sells products from MetLife Inc. of New York and Prudential Financial Inc. of Newark, N.J. The National LTC Network racked up nearly $60 million in LTC sales last year. Through the new arrangement, the network will sell Richmond, Va.-based Genworth’s products to individuals and businesses, thus expanding the insurer’s sales. “These tight economic times bring an incredible opportunity for people to strengthen their economic security in retirement with long term care insurance,” Bob Eckhart, Genworth’s vice president of LTC sales, said in a statement. “Adding the National LTC Network to our lists of distributors will help bring this message and Genworth’s solution to thousands of additional households and business owners.”
