Hartford chooses fixed-income leader

As managing director and head of fixed income trading, Bill Parry will oversee all fixed income traders.

Hartford Investment Management Co. (Conn.) today selected Bill Parry to lead its fixed income trading team. As managing director and head of fixed income trading, Mr. Parry will oversee all fixed income traders, as well as the aspects of daily trade flows and the trading technology platform. He will also be the firm’s liaison for regulatory and industry organizations. Mr. Parry joined the registered investment adviser subsidiary of The Hartford in November 2007. He was most recently the managing director at Bank of America Securities, leading the New York Investment Grade sales team. A 20-year veteran of the fixed income world, Mr. Parry will report to Bill Davison, managing director at Hartford Investment Management.
