Jackson National Life reported today a 14% earnings increase and $4.1 billion in revenue for 2007. The Lansing, Mich.-based insurer reported record fee income of $1 billion, which was 41% higher compared with 2006. Jackson National achieved record sales and deposits of more than $14.5 billion, up 22% compared with the previous year. The 2007 credit crisis had little affect on Jackson’s performance with only around 1% of the company’s total cash and invested assets allocated in subprime mortgages. Assets under management at Jackson National surpassed $82 billion at the end of 2007.
