Nebraska insurance director L.Tim Wagner died on Tuesday, according to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Mr. Wagner, 65, had held the post since 1999. He died from complications of a stroke suffered last week, NAIC said. Most recently, he held posts as vice chair of the life insurance and annuities committee, chair of the risk retention working group and co-chair of the climate change and global warming task force. As a tribute to Mr. Wagner, the NAIC will hold a “Celebration of Life” on Monday, Oct. 15 in Omaha.
