West Virginia's Jane Cline tabbed to head NAIC

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners named its 2010 leaders today, with Jane Cline, West Virginia's insurance commissioner, assuming the presidency.

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners named its 2010 leaders today, with Jane Cline, West Virginia's insurance commissioner, assuming the presidency. She replaces Roger Sevigny, New Hampshire's commissioner and the group's 2009 president. The NAIC also selected Susan Voss, Iowa's commissioner, as president-elect. She will replace Ms. Cline in 2011. Ms. Voss served as vice president in 2009. Kevin McCarty, insurance commissioner in Florida, will take over as vice president of the group in 2010. He has just wrapped up his term as secretary and treasurer of the NAIC for 2009. Finally, Kim Holland, insurance commissioner of Oklahoma, will serve as the secretary and treasurer for the NAIC next year.
