Stock and bond funds net $24.7 of inflows in April

International/global funds led the way with net inflows of $12.7 billion, followed by corporate funds with $7 billion.

Stock and bond funds had net inflows of $24.7 billion in April, according to a report released today by the Financial Research Corp. of Boston. International/global funds led the way with net inflows of $12.7 billion, followed by corporate funds with $7 billion. The Pimco Total Return Fund, advised by Pacific Investment Management Co. LLC in Newport Beach, Calif., attracted $2.5 billion of net inflows to lead the fund sales charts. FRC’s data includes exchange traded funds in the universe of mutual funds.
