To support and encourage diversity and inclusion, the Financial Planning Association is offering its members access to a program developed by the Latino Leadership Institute. Both groups are based in Denver.
The program, Insight to Inclusive Leadership, is delivered virtually and consists of six 90-minute modules. When they complete the program, participants receive an electronic badge to put on their LinkedIn profiles. The badge communicates a planner’s commitment as a professional to be a leader in the diversity, equity and inclusion financial planning space, FPA said in a release.
Members can register on the FPA website to be part of the inaugural cohort, which will be capped at 30 participants and begin in the fall.
The Latino Leadership Institute trains Latino leaders for management and C-suite positions as well as providing specialized training in diversity, equity and inclusion for major corporations and government organizations.
