Joanna Rotenberg to head Fidelity’s personal investing division
The wealth management chief at BMO Financial will succeed Kathy Murphy, who plans to step down before the end of the year.

Joanna Rotenberg, head of wealth management at Toronto-based BMO Financial Group, has been named to head the $4.1 trillion personal investing division of Fidelity Investments, succeeding Kathy Murphy.

Earlier this year, Murphy announced her decision to step down from her role before the end of the year.

Rotenberg has led wealth management at BMO since 2016 and has been a member of its executive committee since joining the firm in 2010. Earlier, she was a partner at McKinsey & Co. and a leader in its North American financial services practice.
