LIMRA, NAIFA launch online seminars

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors today announced its partnership with LIMRA International Inc. to provide NAIFA members with free access to a monthly “Market Awareness” web seminar.

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors today announced its partnership with LIMRA International Inc. to provide NAIFA members with free access to a monthly “Market Awareness” web seminar. The Market Awareness series from LIMRA features a set of monthly videos, each 30 to 40 minutes long, providing advisers and agents with pointers on ways to improve their practices. Topics range from recruiting new talent, to building a retirement practice, to tackling the women’s market. The first release, out this month, is entitled “Getting Prospects to Say YES to Life Insurance,” marking September as Life Insurance Awareness Month. Releases for next year will include modules on succession planning and practice management. NAIFA is based in Falls Church, Va., while LIMRA, the life insurance research and marketing organization, is headquartered in Windsor, Conn.
