Northwest Bank moves $1.3 billion in assets from Cetera to LPL

Warren, Pa.-based bank has 24 advisers in 164 offices in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio.

Northwest Bank of Warren, Pa., whose securities operation has $1.3 billion of brokerage and advisory assets, has affiliated with LPL's broker-dealer and corporate registered investment advisory platforms. The bank had been affiliated with Cetera. Last year, Northwest acquired 18 New York-based branches of First Niagara Bank, which had been an institutional client of LPL. The bank operates 164 offices in New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania and employs 24 advisers.
