Raymond James picks up $112 million team from Morgan Stanley

Two women advisers with Morgan Stanley in Gainesville, Fla., have left the firm where they managed $112 million in client assets to join Raymond James. Ashley Banks and Donna Carroll, who operate as the Banks Carroll Group, are joining Raymond James Financial Services, the firm's indpendent brokerage channel. They specialize in working with female clients, with a particular emphasis on helping women involved in a divorce, Raymond James said in a release. The two hold the designation of certified divorce financial analyst in addition to being certified financial planners. Ms. Banks, who along with Ms. Carroll has more than 25 years of financial services experience, had been manager of Morgan Stanley's Gainesville, Fla., branch before leaving the firm. The two began their careers at Merrill Lynch and have worked together since 1995.
