The publisher of Fortune, Money and Sports Illustrated has launched Coinage, a video-first brand covering personal finance that will run on 22 Time Inc. sites. In a press release, the company said that Coinage will feature 600 videos this year, each 90 seconds long, helping consumers of all ages with spending, saving and investing for themselves and their families. Time Inc. said the videos, sponsored by GEICO, will be “lighthearted and entertaining.” They will feature original infographics, in-studio interviews with personalities and experts and other relevant news and information. Nearly every Time Inc. brand will contribute content and promotional efforts to the project, including their social media channels, which reach an audience of nearly 250 million, the company said.
