U.S. Bank taps veteran wirehouse exec to head advisory unit
Beth Lawlor was named president of the bank’s private wealth management business

Beth Lawlor, a veteran wirehouse executive most recently at UBS, has been named president of U.S. Bank’s private wealth management division. She will be based in New York.

Lawlor will set the strategic direction and oversee all aspects of the business, managing teams across the U.S., the bank said in a release.

Prior to her role as head of national field engagement and sales at UBS, Lawlor held senior posts at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Advisors and Smith Barney.
