American Retirement Association adds Plan Sponsor Council of America

Umbrella group now will represent five retirement-related organizations.
NOV 15, 2017

The Plan Sponsor Council of America, an organization of employee-benefit-plan sponsors, is joining the 20,000-member American Retirement Association, an umbrella group of retirement-related groups. The PSCA will become a membership division of the ARA on Dec. 29. Four other retirement organizations currently comprise the American Retirement Association: the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, the ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries, the National Association of Plan Advisors and the National Tax-deferred Savings Association. "We will continue to provide the same services to members and to be a voice for plan sponsors in Washington," said Ken Raskin, PSCA's chairman. "Joining forces significantly improves our ability to elevate important retirement industry issues and better serve our members."
