EP Wealth acquires Maine firm managing $347 million
The acquisition of Cribstone Capital Management was EP Wealth's sixth deal of 2022.

EP Wealth Advisors, a Torrance, California-based registered investment advisor managing $15.1 billion, acquired Cribstone Capital Management, a Maine-based firm, in a deal that closed Dec. 31.

The acquisition was EP Wealth Advisors’ sixth transaction of 2022. Terms were not disclosed.

Cribstone has two offices, in Augusta and Brunswick, and manages $357 million.

The firm is led by Scott Upham and Jeff Burch, who are joining EP Wealth along with four additional team members.

The deal brings EP Wealth’s total employee base to nearly 330.
