How coaching and mentorship can elevate business metrics and client service
Everybody needs a coach if they want to grow, no matter how successful they are.
SEP 18, 2024

Whether through direct learning from experienced advisors, business coaching, or structured mentorship programs, the right partnership can accelerate growth and success. When rookie financial advisors are teamed up with veterans, for example, it drastically shortens the learning curve and accelerates the growth and development of the newcomer.

With an aging advisor population, there is little doubt that opportunities for advisors to expand their practices through acquisition will skyrocket. As a result, working with a business coach can help to identify the “right” types of practices that an advisor - or advisor team - may be interested in purchasing.

To learn more about how coaching and mentorship elevate business metrics and client service join MassMutual for an exclusive webinar on October 10th at 10am EST.

Leading the session – and answering questions - will be Vaughn Bowman, the head of MassMutual Wealth Management, leading the ongoing development and growth of MassMutual’s financial advisory business through delivery of world-class investment, planning, lending and trust products and services.

Prior to joining MassMutual, Vaughn was Chief Operating Officer for Merrill Lynch’s Private Wealth Management, International, and Institutional divisions. While at Merrill, Vaughn also held positions as Head of Channel Management, responsible for strategic direction and investment product partnerships across Bank of America’s consumer bank, private bank, international and institutional client segments, and was Head of Managed Investment Strategies, leading the team responsible for up to $600B in managed investment advisory client assets.

Before that, Vaughn spent 12 years in Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management division, where he held a variety of positions in the areas of business management, product development, and platform development.

Vaughn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in English and American Literature from NYU and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He also graduated with honors from the US Army’s Command and General Staff College and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Vaughn currently serves in the US Army Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel with a specialty in Military Intelligence and leads training teams specializing in mission command and troop leadership.

Putting it all together, Vaughn’s passion for mentorship and service, coupled with MassMutual’s industry leadership on the subject, makes for a perfect match and a learning opportunity not to be missed.

Don’t miss this chance to learn from a military and industry veteran about the value of leadership and how it can help you expand your practice. Come join this exclusive webinar on October 10th at 10am EST.
